The Mod chair

The Mod chair is formed from exotic wood discovered in a Govan skip. It is throne-like in its appearance with a wide seat and is 5 feet 6 inches tall. Each armrest is formed from nine thistles - the flowers of Scotland. Unseen and affixed to the back is an acknowledgement of the importance of the "Black Man" public house, used by many people during the period of the Mod.
