The Rangers chair
John McLaughlin made this chair for John Greig because of the latter's contribution to Scottish football and because of the role Rangers play in enlivening the area of Govan. The chair is made of pitch pine that is 250 years old. The backrest portrays the initials RFC, on which is situated a ball. The three trees on each gable leg refer to the famous half back line of Greig, McKinnon and Baxter who graced Scottish football in the 1960s.
